Emergency Department
The Emergency Department at Unity Medical Center is a Level 5 Trauma Center that provides care to patients with urgent medical conditions ranging from complex problems such as heart attacks and strokes to simple but pressing conditions such as broken bones and cuts. Care is provided 24 hours a day by physicians, PA's and our nursing staff that are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation and Pediatric Advance Life Support. Our Emergency Department is also a designated Stroke Ready Facility within the state of North Dakota.
The Emergency Department features:
- Private exam and treatment rooms
- Digital radiology and CT scanner
- On site laboratory
- Rapid registration and triage of patients to minimize wait times
- Computerized tracking system, charting and discharge instructions that help enhance patient privacy, safety and after-care treatment
