Respiratory Care
The Respiratory Care Department at Unity Medical Center provides a comprehensive program of Respiratory Care Service to both Inpatients and outpatients. Our RTs are highly skilled professionals who work to evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Our RTs work with physicians to evaluate and develop individual treatment plans on each patient.
With extensive training in pulmonary medicine and many years of professional experience, the team offers an array of diagnostic, therapeutic and educational services.

- Oxygen Concentrators
- Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
- Oxygen Conservers

Sleep Studies
Sleep studies are tests that record the body activity during sleep. They are helpful in identification of sleep disorders.
Sleep studies can help diagnose or rule out:
- Sleep Apnea
- Insomnia
- Narcolepsy
- Sleepwalking, night terrors, or bed-wetting
- Grinding teeth during sleep
- Stages of sleep problems such as Rapid Eye Movement.
